Click the NTFS Data Recovery desktop icon to activate the product. The software window as shown below will appear on your computer screen.

Select the disk, you want to scan, from left panel of program window and choose the searching method from which you want to scan. There are two types of search:-

• Standard Search
• Advanced Search

Standard Search
Select the Disk type you want to scan and mark the “Standard Search” option as shown below. Click the “Next” button.

Select the disk partition you want to scan and click the “Search More Partition” button for other missing partitions. Press “Next” button to start disk scanning.

Press “Back” button for selecting another partition.

Wait till the disk recovery process in progress. Press “Next” button.

You can even stop the disk scanning by clicking the “Stop Search” button.

Save the selected files and folders at your specified location.

Advanced Search

If you cannot view all the files in “Standard Search”, then you can go for “Advanced Search”.

Select the Disk you want to scan from left panel of software screen and move your mouse to “Advanced Search” option. Press “NEXT” button as shown below.

Select the partition and specify the “Partition Type”. For searching other partitions click “Search More Partition” button as shown below. Press the “Next” button.

Press “Back” button for selecting another partition.

Wait for some time, while the file recovery in progress. Press the “Next” button.

You can even stop the disk searching by clicking the “Stop Search” button.

Select the File system from which you want to recover data, details of the file system will be displayed in the right panel, as shown in the following screen:

Save all the recovered data at your specified location by selecting files from left panel of program window.
